CONNESSA COLLECTIVE PERFORMANCE GRANT
CONNECTING THROUGH SUPPORT
This performance grant brings to life the creative ideas of vibrant performers with multicultural points of view. Within specific parameters, a local artist receives funding for their live in-person performance that incorporates musical elements and integrates visual and performing arts.
The Connessa Collective Performance Grant (CCPG) is need-based and aims to cover venue rental costs, collaborative pianist fees and advertising costs for artists who would otherwise be unable to share their creative vision in a performance setting. Each grant applicant submits their performance proposal along with detailed cost estimates and a description of how the CCPG would facilitate their vision.
Through this initiative, the multicultural artistic work of a local artist is highlighted and amplified.
